Original M35 army single decal helmet. Shell was period repainted field grey by brush with remnants of snow camo still evident. WH eagle on left side is approximately 40% intact. It looks to have been uncovered. Early helmet band is intact with the original leather liner which is still pliable and in good condition, though the rear seam has separated. Size is unclear but does match-up with other size 66 shells I have. No dents or cracks to shell. This helmet was battlefield recovered at least a few years after the war ended. The inside of the shell has oxidation and has bubbling to the finish. Displays well from the exterior.
